John Koko of the Makaha Sons Hospitalized

Honolulu
Pacific Mele has learned that John Koko of the Makaha Sons has
been hospitalized and treated for a heart problem. The Makaha Sons
had to cancel their appearance tonight at the Bishop Museum's
Moonlight Mele which has been rescheduled for October.
No information has been received about John's condition or what kind
of heart problem he is experiencing. In the cancellation
announcement, the Bishop Museum reported that he is expecting to
make a full recovery.
